Coach Pisacane’s boys have resumed training at the CRAI Sport Center, where they are working to begin preparations for their next league match, the 35th round of Serie A away match against Bologna (tickets for the away section of the “Dall’Ara” stadium are available).
There were two working groups: the players who were most involved in yesterday’s match completed a cool-down session in the gym; for the others, the session began with technical drills, accompanied by ball possession work. The training session concluded with practice matches played on a reduced-size pitch.
Luca Mazzitelli underwent personalized training; Gennaro Borrelli and Paul Mendy were rested, having undergone tests after being withdrawn early from the match against Atalanta. In Borrelli’s case, tests revealed a low-grade tear to the biceps femoris in his left thigh; Mendy suffered a strained left thigh.
Tomorrow, Thursday, April 30th, another training session is scheduled for the morning.
