FIRST HALF
After a start played on equal terms against the Nerazzurri, there came on 17 minutes the episode that changed the game and immediately put it uphill for the red and blue: Marcolini was sent off for a late intervention on Spinacce. The first real danger of the match came from Inter in the 27th minute: Kamate, served in from the left by Berenbruch, sent wide from a good position. In the 30th minute, an ankle problem for Cogoni left Cagliari momentarily in 9: Inter exploited the opportunity and found the lead in the 33rd minute with Sarr who beat Iliev from inside the area. Three minutes later came Owusu’s double, who put the ball behind the Bulgarian goalkeeper with a shot from a deflected position. The first half ended 2-0 to the hosts.
SECOND HALF
Coach Pisacane made a change in the 56th minute: Arba and Simonetta were in, Cogoni and Sulev out. A minute later, another chance for Inter: Kamate kicks high from the edge of the area. Cagliari also made an attacking move in the 64th minute with Idrissi, who headed a left-footed shot into the net: the ball was just wide. In the 68th minute, out came Carboni and in came Malfitano. After some chances created by the Nerazzurri with Berenbruch and Owusu, it was Inter’s number 14 who found the 3-0 goal in the 82nd minute. Thus ends the Konami YDC match.

COACH PISACANE’S WORDS:
“We had started well in terms of approach and interpretation, then the expulsion changed the game. It’s a pity because it’s the second game in the last three away matches that we play in a numerical inferiority for 70′, against a team like Inter everything becomes more difficult. I can’t reproach the boys for anything, because until the last minute they gave everything they had in their bodies, trying as always. Let’s not make dramas, as we have always done, let’s start again from the work, reset everything and put the next challenge in our sights, all together”.
