Cagliari Calcio has taken disciplinary action against two spectators in the South Stand who, during the match against Torino on Sunday, October 20, were guilty of a deplorable gesture referencing the Superga tragedy of 1949.

After gathering photographic and video materials, with the support of the relevant authorities, the two individuals were identified and have been issued a ban for the entire 2024/25 sporting season. This measure will prevent them from accessing the Unipol Domus through ticket and subscription blocking systems.

The decision is based on the “Code for the Regulation of the Transfer of Access Tickets to Football Events,” in addition to supporting the “Regulations for the Use of the Sports Facility.” This allows for further sanctions against spectators, including temporary or permanent stadium bans, while proceeding in parallel with any measures imposed by public security authorities.

In line with the values expressed in its “BeAsOne” manifesto, the Club upholds the positive values of sport, healthy fan behavior, and the fight against all forms of discrimination and violence.
