Kingstone to Cagliari

Cagliari Calcio announces that it has exercised its option to buy Kingstone Mutandwa’s permanent transfer to the Rossoblu, after SV Ried, the Austrian club where the player played on loan in the 2025/26 season, exercised its option.

The young Zambian striker, born in 2003, made his Serie A debut with Cagliari on March 3, 2024, scoring his first goal on May 23 against Fiorentina at the Unipol Domus. After 12 total appearances for the first team, between the league and the Coppa Italia, and 23 games and 8 goals for the Primavera, he continued his development in the Austrian top flight last summer. There, he was a true star, among the best strikers of the season in the Bundesliga: with Ried, he scored 16 goals and 4 assists in 37 games.

The striker will return to the rossoblù from July 1st.
