Luvumbo to Mallorca

Cagliari Calcio announces the transfer of the registration rights of the player Zito Luvumbo, who will move to Real Club Deportivo Mallorca on loan until the end of the 2026/27 season, with an option to buy, which will become mandatory if certain sporting conditions are met.

The Angolan striker, born in 2002, arrived in Sardinia at the age of eighteen, initially finding space in the Primavera, gradually inserted into the first team, with which he made his debut on 5 August 2022, in the 3-2 victory in the Italian Cup against Perugia. The 2022/23 season will be decisive for his growth: 36 games, 3 goals and 3 assists, key man in the playoffs for the prompt rise to the top flight.

In the following seasons in Serie A, in which he made his debut in the draw (0-0) away against Torino on 21 August 2023, he contributed to achieving the goal of survival: in two and a half championships he played in 68 matches, with 6 goals and 8 assists.

From island to island, he played the last part of last season on loan in Mallorca (10 games and 2 assists), where he will now continue his experience.
