Tommaso Giulini presents the new Cagliari

“It’s the beginning of an exciting new adventure, I hope it is also for Cagliari, its fans, and the entire region of Sardinia.”

These are the first words of President Giulini in today’s press conference. Alongside him are Captain Daniele Conti and the new sporting director, Francesco Marroccu.

“At Fluorsid, we are used to working as a team, and this is the signal I wanted to give today by bringing the director and the captain with me.”

Francesco Marroccu is returning to Cagliari after an experience abroad.

As for the captain, he has a new one-year contract, making it his sixteenth season in red and blue.

President Giulini presented his new project to the press, analyzing all aspects that need to be considered both in the short and long term. From the stadium to the fans, from technical and sporting aspects to marketing and communication strategies.

During the press conference, he also wanted to have three of the new members of the board of directors by his side, whom he presented with great pleasure. Mariano Delogu, the former president of Cagliari Calcio and the former mayor of the Sardinian capital, Stefano Matalucci, who participated in the ownership transition, and Gianfranco Matteoli, the link between the old and the new board.
