Born in 1993, he took his first steps in his career at Albinoleffe. On March 10, 2012, at the age of 18, he made his Serie B debut in a match against Livorno, and it was a lucky debut: he immediately scored a goal.
In 2013, he moved to Palermo, where he remained for two seasons. His record with the Rosanero was 64 appearances, 16 goals, and 6 assists, with the icing on the cake being victory in the second division.
