A native of Luanda, the capital of Angola, born in 2002, despite his young age he already has two appearances with the senior national team to his credit, with whom he made his debut on 6 September 2019 in the match against Gambia for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

At youth level, he immediately impressed insiders by shining with his country's U17 representative team: best player in the 2018 Cosafa, the tournament reserved for the national teams of southern Africa; leader of the team in the African Cup of Nations and at the World Cup, played in Brazil last year.

In red and blue since 2020, he was one of the Primavera's most important players in the 20/21 and 21/22 seasons, making 39 appearances and scoring 16 goals. In between, he had a brief parenthesis on loan at Como in Serie B. Last season he contributed through his performances to the red and blue club's promotion to Serie A. The two goals he scored against Parma in the first leg of the play-off semi-finals were fundamental to the red and blue team's comeback.

The first Angolan player to wear the Cagliari shirt, Luvumbo is an attacking outfielder capable of playing on both flanks: he has speed, flair and dribbling in his baggage, qualities that allow him to be lethal in one-on-one situations and easily create numerical superiority. A player with excellent qualities who knows how to inflame the red and blue crowd, a precious resource for the club both for the present and the future.
