Born in Milan in 1994, his career in professional footbal began in the summer of 2014 among the ranks of Giana Erminio: here in three seasons he totalized 119 games, 1 goal and 10 assists. His developement continued at Spezia: in Serie B he played 49 matches, among the most interesting prospects in the category. Thus came the call from the Serie A: he stayed in Liguria, but moved to Genoa, Samp side. He made his debut in Serie A on 4 November 2019, in the 1-0 win against Spal, with coach Ranieri on the bench. On 17 October 2020, in the home match against Lazio, he starred with a goal - his first in a "Blucerchiata shirt" - and an assist, decisive for the 3-0 final. He leaves Sampdoria after 134 matches, with four goals and 13 assists.

A left-back, tactically disciplined, thanks to his excellent running ability and technical qualities, he can be used on the full wing: good defensive readings, he also likes to offer himself in the push phase, where he can jump over the opponent and serve nice crosses to his teammates. He can also make himself particularly insidious on set pieces playing in the offensive zone of the pitch.
