Born in Belgrade on May 26, 1996, he is a product of the Rad youth academy. He made his first-team debut on his 17th birthday. After a year of apprenticeship, he became the starting goalkeeper, attracting the attention of Atalanta. He made his Serie A debut in the match against Genoa on May 15, 2016.
Loaned to Avellino, he had a good season, which ended with the Irpini's survival in Serie B. He moved to Salernitana, then to Cremonese, where a knee injury in November kept him off the pitch until the end of the season.
After a spell at Hellas Verona and a return to Atalanta, he moved to Cagliari in 2021. He played three times in the league and twice in the Coppa Italia.
The following season, he was the starting goalkeeper for the team that won the playoff final against Bari and earned promotion to Serie A. Transferred to the Apulian team in the summer of 2024, he made 38 appearances.
A 6'4" goalkeeper with a powerful physique, he is very agile and reactive between the posts, as well as being skilled at coming off his line and catching high balls.
