Sardinian, strongly tied to the island, with Cagliari always in his heart: Aresti started in the Cagliari Youth Sector until his debut in the first team on May 27, 2007, the first step of a long career that later took him to wear the jerseys of Pistoiese, Alghero, Savona, Pescara, Ternana and Olbia.

He came back to Cagliari in the summer of 2018 and in recent years has become a reference point in the locker room, a true professional able of putting all his experience and skills at the service of the group and transmitting the Club's values to his teammates. Much more than a charismatic figure, when called upon he has always demonstrated on the pitch all his reliability.
