Born in 1989, he brings with him experience and quality: his path began at Reggina, with whom he went through the entire trafila in the youth ranks until his debut in the first team on 17 January 2008.

After his experience in Calabria, he wore the shirts of Palermo, Ternana and Novara: seasons that saw him establish himself among the best midfielders in the cadetteria. In January 2017, he moved to Benevento and contributed to promotion. He would also repeat in the Giallorossi in the 2019/20 season, among the protagonists of the championship won by the Campania team also thanks to his nine goals, before moving on to Bologna. He get promoted in Serie A with Cagliari in the 2022-23 season. His record speaks of more than 50 career goals between Serie A and B, scored in over 300 matches.

Tactically flexible, he can act both as a playmaker and halfback: a specialist in set pieces, he combines vision and technique: a number 10.
